ABSTRACT
This paper examines a set of websites of Greek Diaspora in the United States and Canada. These media offer a linear communication mode. The promotion of an ecumenical Hellenism is in the heart of their message. However, the politicisation of this rhetoric is not inherent to the media itself but depends on the choices operated and the strategies implemented by the mediators.
