This paper describes a diploma course for teacher training that allows teachers to guide the students towards the development of enquiry as a tool to explore and understand the physical phenomena that surrounds them. This proposal is targeted to elementary school teachers and integrates concepts such as differentiated instruction, project based instruction and literacy por the acquisition of scientific skills. Technological resources such as simulators complement this training program
