ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to determine humor styles of school administrators. This is a descriptive survey.The data were gathered by using Humor Style Questionnaire. The sample of the research consists of 148school administrators. Humor Style Questionnaire composed of four sub-dimensions (self-enhancing,affiliative, aggressive, and self-defeating humor). Data were analyzed by utilizing descriptive statistics, t-testsand variance analyses. According to the results, it was determined that school administrators had anaffiliative humor style. Affiliative humor style of school administrators significantly varies according toseniority, hobbies and reading comics; self-enhancing humor style according to age and hobbies; andaggressive humor style according to the number of teachers at school. School administrators have anaffiliative humor styles can make a positive contribution to the relationship between school administratorsand teachers.
