Analysis of the time-efficiency evolution of two agro-industrial wastes in the aerobic composting process

The inappropriate disposal of industrial wastes, including the agro-industrial wastes is one of the most critical environmental problems presently. The present work aims to obtaining of an organic compound through aerobic composting technique, utilizing the mesophilic temperature, in open environment, with slow decomposition process, a privileged option of treatment, permitting the co-process of several residues. Were utilized agro-industrial wastes of the green line, cereal wastes, poultry manure-straw mix, egg incubatory; in two treatments with distinct ratios. The compound obtained showed adequate characteristics however a low C/N ratio, which is not ideal by the large amount of N losses by volatization.
