ABSTRACT
Anionic hydrogels, using Azo-iso butyronitrile as cross linker, with varying ionic moieties were prepared from N vinyl-2-Pyrrolidone/Methylene Succinic acid/water by heating them at different temperatures for different interval of times. Swelling/drug loading sensitivity with pH and ionic strength of the medium for these hydrogels were investigated.
