ABSTRACT
By combining detective and fantastic fiction in a series of undecipherable enigma, Djinn (1981) becomes an instance of «formalisme ludique» within Robbe-Grillet’s work. This article examines how duplicating and decouplating techniques systematically contribute not only to create both perceptive and narrative ambiguity but also to stage an adventure involving at least, love, identity and the very act of writing.
