ABSTRACT
In this investigation, we have developed a block cipher which includes a key bunch matrix and a key matrix supported with xor operation. In each round of the iteration process of this cipher, we have included a permutation process, wherein the elements of the plaintext matrix, are converted into binary bits, and arranged in a column wise manner. This is supplemented with the rotation of the binary bits of the last row and the last column, and is supported with a swapping process, wherein the portions of the sub-matrices are swapped. The cryptanalysis carried out in this investigation show that the cipher is a strong one and it cannot be broken by any attack.
