ABSTRACT
Although spontaneous pneumomediatinum is a rare and usually self-limited emergency, it should be followed up closely because of possible complications which have a high rate of mortality. Current case is presented particulary to emphasize that spontaneous pneumomediastinum should be kept in mind in differential diagnosis of chest pain and vertigo in emergency department admissions.
