Regarding to different kinds of load, domesticelectrical appliances, increasing application of furtherelectrical equipment’s which leads to consumption of electricenergy, destructive electromagnetic sources EMI added.Recognizing this source and it's side effects on performance ofelectronic and electrical equipment that could be in form ofconductive, inductive and radiated is outstanding. An idealelectric machine is a system that electric energy is applied inpure sinusoid waveform flow has no loss in the heat form.However in practice, elements and equipment’s with nonlinearcharacteristic, specially power electronic equipment’s andstorage elements of energy could arise higher frequencyharmonics causing losses in the form of heat. Numerouselectrical motors used in industrial manufacturing companiescause notably heat losses especially then induction motors. Thefact that complexity of interconnection between stator androtor can consider as source of higher harmonics and energylosses, attention is paying from induction motors intoPermanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM). The paper,make a comparison between PMSM and widely used inductionmotors from the view point of higher frequency harmonics andshows the advantage of PMSM in this regards.
