ABSTRACT
According to the IEEE standard glossary of softwareengineering, Object-Oriented design is becoming moreimportant in software development environment andsoftware Metrics are essential in software engineering formeasuring the software complexity, estimating size, qualityand project efforts. There are various approaches throughwhich we can find the software cost estimation andpredicates on various kinds of deliverable items. The toolsare used for measuring the estimations are lines of codes,function points, and object points. This paper highlightmostly the classification of metrics like software qualitymetrics and the object-oriented metrics or all the softwarequality metrics like the HALSTEAD metrics, size merics,quality metrics and all the object oriented metrics which areproposed from 90’s like CK metrics, Moose Metrics,QMOOD Metrics, GQM, MOOSE, EMOOSE and maintainthe comparison table through which we can easily analyzethe difference between all the object-oriented metrics.
