ABSTRACT
Digital media content construction capturing, handing out and allocation have witnessed an extraordinary expansion over the earlier period. This media content is regularly dispersed in compressed and encrypted format and watermarking of these media for copyright contravention discovery, proof of possession or distributorship, media verification, now and over again need to be carried out in compressed-encrypted province. There have been several related image watermarking techniques proposed to date. Watermarking of compacted encrypted JPEG2000 images is proposed, where the encryption refers to the ciphering of whole JPEG2000 compressed stream apart from headers and marker segments, which are missing in plain text for format conformity. A new method to embed a robust watermark in the JPEG2000 compressed encrypted images by means of three different existing watermarking schemes was proposed. The algorithm is easy to put into practice as it is directly carry out in the compressed-encrypted domain and it does not necessitate partial decompression of the content. It also safeguards the con´Čüdentiality of content as the embedding is completed on encrypted information. The homomorphic properties of the cryptosystem are demoralized, which allows us to notice the watermark subsequent to decryption and manage the image excellence as well.
