ABSTRACT
he purpose of this paper is to present the results of an investigation referred to some agreements and disagreements on the concept of ‘nature of science’ (known internationally with the acronym NOS) that appear between specialists in the teaching of natural sciences; specifically, we focus on those from Latin America. To do this we considered the aca- demic production in the form of journal articles, released between 2000 and 2009, we seek articles that develop some kind of substantive relation- ship with the research NOS. The main finding of this study is that, today, the NOS is a field of reflection and didactic innovation clearly recogniz- able to researchers / as Ibero-American science education.
