ABSTRACT
This study investigated public relations higher education in three countries: the United States (U.S.), the United Kingdom (U.K.), and South Korea. The study examined a relationship between each country’s unique historical and cultural environment and pedagogical approaches to the concept of internationalisation in the field of public relations. A total of 117 college curricula were content analysed (50 from the U.S., 35 from the U.K., and 32 from South Korea). Results indicated ways in which the formation of public relations education in each country varied, and provided some clues to predict the influences of histories, cultures, and media systems on public relations curricula.
