ABSTRACT
The process of creation and use of industrial property is quite complicated and consists of a number of steps and procedures. So far nowadays the creation of efficient system of management of the industrial property in the shipbuilding business is very important. Analysis of the literature sources showed that management of the industrial property system required consideration in view of the effectiveness of innovation activities, but most of the papers’re considered in isolation from management of innovative activity in general. The article considers the nature of industrial property, modern approaches to the management of intellectual property in innovation shipbuilding enterprises and the creation of specialized units as a basic level of the specified objects’ management.
