This work presents a methodology to evaluate the demand distribution at the São Paulo Metropolitan Region (RMSP), considering a new entrant airport operator. Six locations at the RMSP were evaluated and their attraction potentials were estimated considering access times and future levels of service in terms of frequencies and destines. A Gravity Model is employed for analyses. An origin-destination matrix and a demand forecast for RMSP of 61 million passengers per year in 2020 were used as a basis for the study. The results indicate that airports located at the RMSP are much more able to attract passengers than airports located at distant regions.
