This article is aimed on the specific task ofinteraction with an immerse visualisation application. The firstpart of the article provides basic introduction into interactionparadigms in 3D space. After that classification and descriptionof standard interaction tasks are presented. We introduce ourview of matter on relations between the 3D interaction andstandard interaction techniques. The second part describeshardware and software components of our VR system.Furthermore an overview of the architecture andimplementation details of system for interactive visualisationconfiguration is discussed. We describe design specifications of a3D UI, which helps to make interaction less error prone forinexperienced users. A specific solution for performingnumerical input is also provided. The main goal of the article isto describe how 3D user interface paradigms can beimplemented in the VR system.
