In the process of gradual integration in the world environment Ukraine faces new challenges in training specialists for different branches of industry. In the sphere of students’ learning activity management it first of all means orientation of future specialists on their self-organized work. This problem was in the focus of a great number of methodical research in pedagogic, psychology and methods of teaching though the problem of self-organized work management system application wasn’t paid enough attention to. It should be mentioned that not formal but real as well as not declarative but efficient self-educating students’ activity can become effective only in case of complex application of all parts of students self-organized work. The methodical approach to the development of students’ self-organized work (SSW) management system is suggested. By SSW we understand all measures of management subject’s (i.e. lecturer) influence on the management object (i.e. student) aimed at professional and personal competences forming by means of students’ constant and reasonable cognitive activity.Recognition of SSW system management structure makes it possible to develop systematic tools complexes for each discipline studied at tertiary schools and enables to make students’ self-organized activity management more efficient in the competence approach context. SSW systematic tools complex is formed within certain SSW management sub-systems based on functional sub-systems influence and composes the following elements: SSW time limits, SSW data base, methods of providing, forms of control and SSW assessment criteria. The suggested methodical approach to the SSW management system development resulting in systematic tools complex forming was put in practice by the authors of this publication when teaching the discipline "Economy of Enterprises".The theoretical value of the publication lies in the development of methodical approach to the SSW management system. The main component of the system is recognition of functional system structure according to which organizational, methodical and information-engineering SSW systematic tools complexes are created. The practical value is proved by providing of a number of methodical and teaching materials for SSW on the discipline "Economy of Enterprises" based on the competence approach to the future specialists training.
