ABSTRACT
This text is characterized as a theoretical essay that exposes the historical trajectory of history didactics at Germany, focusing its paradigmatic turn on the sixties and seventies. From a pragmatic and external to historical studies discipline, the history didactics developes to a reflexive perspective about society and historical knowledge, playing an analytical role over the very science of history, acting as a resource of self-awareness at this field. Finally, describes the actual configuration of history didactics as from its new objectives, main issues and future perspectives.
