Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) are widelyused in places where there is little or no infrastructure. Anumber of people with mobile devices may connecttogether to form a large group. Later on they may split intosmaller groups. This dynamically changing networktopology of MANETs makes it vulnerable for a wide rangeof attack. In this paper we propose a complete protocol fordetection & removal of networking Black/Gray Holes byusing OPNET network simulator 14.5; it is the latestversion of simulation software. Basically, OPNET allowsyou to build a network with a range of simulated "reallife"equipment, so different configuration options can betested. And considering two different networks with15nodes and 35 nodes in network and evaluating a securityattack against MANET as a network, different statistics orperformance metrics Packet loss, Packet delivery ratio andAverage end to end delay has been used.
