ABSTRACT
The effect of cinnamon on plasma glucose concentration and the regulation of 6- Phosphofructo-1-Kinase (PFK-1) in the liver and small intestine of streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats were investigated. Concentration of glucose, free and esterfied cholesterol, triacylglycerol was estimated colorimetrically. Concentration of insulin was measured with Roche Diagnostics GmbH Ultrasensetive Rat Insulin ELISA.
