Keywords: mesoporous silica | non-ionic surfactant | ethoxylation degree
ABSTRACT
This work presents the influence of chain length of Tween family on the mesoporous silica nanostructure synthesized with ethoxylated derivative of fatty esters of sorbitan surfactants as the directing-structure agent and tetraethyl orthosilicate as the silica source. The important characteristic of these compounds is great size of their pores that they become their a good candidates for posterior studies or applications, as for example, mesoporous silica hierarchically organized is potential as materials standard for studies of adsorption and catalyses for larges molecules.
