ABSTRACT
Carrier to Noise Ratio (CNR) has been investigated for radio overfiber systems including the effects of variation in the RF oscillatorlinewidth in this paper. Optical Single sideband signal is studied as ithas tolerance for power degradation due to dispersion effects over alength of fiber. Investigations have been made out for Radiofrequency of 30 GHz, with a continuous wave (CW) laser source of1550 nm. CNR has been evaluated using Power SpectralDensity(PSD) function.CNR is studied varying RF oscillatorlinewidth and RF oscillator linewidth for 2 Km fiber with chromaticdispersion D=17 ps/Km nm.
