ABSTRACT
In this paper, the collisional absorptionmechanism of electromagnetic-wave in plasma for DCdischarge type is studied with numerical method. Thecomputation model of the electromagnetic-wave collisionalabsorption in the DC discharge plasma is founded. The FDTDmethod is presented for simulating the collisional absorption ofelectromagnetic-wave energy in the one-dimensionalinhomogeneous plasma by DC discharge generator. Theemulational results illustrate that the inhomogeneous plasmaelectron density which is produced by DC discharge around theopening space could be approximate to 1014-1015cm-3, and theplasma can absorb the energy of electromagnetic-wave in thewide bandwidth by collisional absorption
