ABSTRACT
The present work is aimed at studying the processes of capture of combustion gases of rice husk with alkaline solutions of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and potassium hydroxide (KOH) and its subsequent transformation into calcium carbonate (CaCO3), a substance useful in agriculture, by adding calcium chloride(CaCl2) in aqueous solution. Was determined the basic characteristics of the process of capture of combustion gases such as reaction time, pH, mass and performance of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) obtained.
