ABSTRACT
This article contains information obtained fron the Sociedad de Beneficencia Collection at the Archivo General de la Nación in the “Subsidios” section. The data included in this article was gathered fron over than one thousand and two hundred people fron Argentine. The purpose of this study is to assess the results provided considering different variables as demography, employment, residence, familiar group, illnes, housing and handicap of this people. On the basis of these findings this study attemps to analyze from a methodological perspective, quantitatively and qualitatively the whole universe recently mentioned.
