ABSTRACT
The objective of the present work has been to obtain by hydrochemical route and under optimized conditions, cadmium ferrites, lead and manganese and to make comparisons of its chemical, physicochemical and stoichiometric characteristics. It has been confirmed that under optimal conditions, in situ - ferrite formation process allows to eliminate heavy metals like the evaluated ones of watery means, with efficiencies rates above to 98%. Likewise, they are managed to obtain defined stoichiometries which allow to propose the reaction mechanisms evidenced, since they can be justified from the obtained stoichiometries and different techniques used in its characterization. It has been possible to explain the substitution mechanisms of Fe2+ ions by bivalents metals as the studied ones, in these ferrites’ inverse spinel structures and their correlation with their magnetic properties.
