ABSTRACT
Guizhou Province has very big coal reserves, which has middle to high sulphur content. It isof significance to study the feasibility of the desulphurization of high sulphur coal throughfloat-and-sink test . Our washability study results showed that when using the media densitybelow 1.5 g/cm3 to float the coal, the total sulphur can be reduced to 1.53%, with coal recovery of83.80%, the desulphurization ratio is up to 39.89%.
