In the present work, dispersible tablets of Flucloxacillin sodium were formulated with the view to improve patient compliance by wet granulation method using non-aqueous solvents. Superdisintegrants like sodium starch glycollate, pregelatinized starch, Doshion P544 D and starch as intra-granular disintegrants and croscarmellose sodium & microcrystalline cellulose as both intra & extra-granular disintegrants were used in various proportions. The prepared batches of tablets were evaluated for its thickness, hardness, friability, disintegration test, weight variation test & fineness of dispersion. Best formulation (F11) was evaluated for in vitro drug release and drug content uniformity. From the results, it was concluded that F11 satisfies all the requirements of dispersible tablet with no significant changes in all the parameters.
