The different works from investigation in gender and Mathematical Education realised in different countries generally have been isolated, and little recognized in the mathematical community, nevertheless they constitute a departure point and a fundamental axis for the consolidation of these reflections in the country. The present work has like intentions: to reflect on this relation and to characterize the different ways to undertake these studies in the international scope.
