ABSTRACT
This paper is a scholarly complement to the assertions made by the author in a recent book and article concerning the authorship of the paintings in the Quinta del Sordo. He proposes that these creations are not by Francisco de Goya, and advances the possibility that Javier Goya could have falsified his father's works. Key words: Spanish painting; 18th century; Francisco de Goya; Black paintings.El artículo completa, con aparato crítico, lo mantenido por el autor en un reciente libro y artículo: la imposibilidad de atribución de las Pinturas Negras a Francisco de Goya, haciéndose también una primera tentativa de deslinde de las falsificaciones de la obra paterna por parte de Javier Goya.
