ABSTRACT
A child's diet and his nutrition is a growing concern in Mexico. Obesity rates triple in last 3 decades in ourcountry. Thus, a novel and attractive tool designed for youth is deployed. It has as main objective reducethis problem in a way friendly and intelligent. It includes a planning system based on propositional logicnamed DLVKand a novel architecture that allows us to extend our solution to mobile devices. In thisproposal we consider goal-based agents that use more advanced structured representations and are usuallycalled planning agents. These agents are supposed to maximize their performance measure. Achieving thisis sometimes simplified if the agent can adopt a goal and aim at satisfying it. Thus, first we present thewell-known problem called The Wumpus world. Second, present an application to assist in the solution ofNutrition in Mexico. Planning for nourishing using DLVKimplemented for mobile devices through the WAPprotocol using GPRS service is deployed. Both problems viewed as a logic program (into DLVK) whoseanswer sets corresponds to solutions.Plans correspond to answer sets forthese programs, in the spirit ofanswer set programming.
