ABSTRACT
Convolutional codes are frequently used to correct errors in noisy channels. Viterbi algorithm is a wellknown maximum-likelihood algorithm for decoding of convolutional codes. They have rather good correctingcapability and perform well even on very noisy channels. In this paper we present our studies of impact of constrain length on the performance of convolutional CODEC in AWGN channel.
