ABSTRACT
The experiment was carried out at the Laboratory of Entomology of the Centro de Ciências Agrárias da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (CCA-UFES) in acclimatized chambers at 25 ± 1°C, 70 ± 10% UR and photophase of 14 hours. The objective was to evaluate biological aspects of Trichogramma pretiosum, Trichogramma maxacalii and Trichogramma acacioi in different densities of fall armyworm (FAW), Spodoptera frugiperda eggs. The egg densities were 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 per female of Trichogramma. According to the results, the density of the host is the main factor of variation in the rate of parasitism, with exception to T. acacioi. For the three Trichogramma species it was demonstrated that the descendent emergence percentage and the sex ratio present an increase in relation to the augment of the different densities of S. frugiperda eggs.
