INTERDISCIPLINARY PERCEPTION: A VIEW OF STUDENTES GRADUATE IN NATURAL RESOURCES

ABSTRACT
The intention major duty of a conception of interdisciplinary thinking in the light of which is proposed by some of contemporary epistemologies and having education as a continuous process, can not distance themselves from reality concrete learner and educator, seeking consistency between saying and doing, between thinking and acting, between feeling and talking. Thus, this article aims to analyze the perceptions of students of an interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Natural Resources, Federal University of Campina Grande, in 2010. We used the exploratory research with quantitative and qualitative through semi-survey questionnaire structured. The deductive method was used. It was made using the techniques of descriptive statistics and factor analysis. The results found by Factor Analysis (FA) point to four factors relevant to the perception interdisciplinary study of the students, the first named Prospects for an Interdisciplinary practice - the largest total variance explained by the factor - 28.33%, the second by the Interdisciplinary Student Interest - 15.020%, followed by the third related to the Strategies or Interdisciplinarity in Environmental Graduate - 13.71% and finally the fourth Relevance of Focus and Lack of Integration of Disciplines Program – total variance 13.39%. It was felt that the challenges for the insertion of interdisciplinary programs in the Graduate Area Resources Natural can be overcome to the extent that this question, in fact, will be treated with greater consistency at the collegiate, teachers and students of way that can effectively reflect the needs that the environmental area need.
