ABSTRACT
In this paper, two different spherically symmetric and non-necrotic tumor models of single component with and without inhibitors involving cell apoptosis are presented. The effects of nutrients and inhibitors on the existence and stability of time-independent solutions are studied. Mathematical formulations for these models are retarded differential equations. We have also studied time delay case in cell proliferation process for the non-necrotic and vascular tumor. An implicit expression is also derived for calculating the steady state and tumor radius for both the models.
