ABSTRACT
Introduction: Motivation is important tool for success in the oral hygiene orientation of preschoolers. Objective: To evaluate the motivation for oral hygiene using toys with dentistry themes in children. Methods: Thirty-five children (4 to 6 years old) were evaluated. They were divided into two groups. In the control group was realized simulated mouth oral hygiene orientation, and in the experimental group was added the stimulation with toys.
