ABSTRACT
The purpose of this paper is to discuss how teachers in the training process have selected “new languages” for the Teaching of History. This discussion is established through the observation of the material produced by interns of the Course of History at the University of Santa Catarina (UDESC). This material (consisting of lesson plans and projects) tried to follow the choices made as part of the construction of teacher identity and knowledge academic transcripts. Were noticed the following aspects: the types of language used and the reasons for their choices and too how they are used in the classroom.
