ABSTRACT
Sayyid Taha al-Hakkari kept the scholar tradition he learned from his teacher Mawlana Khalid al-Baghdadi alive in the geography he lived, Hakkari. In the period he lived, Sayyid Taha attracted the attention of the Iranian administrators because of its charismatic personality and they even tried to form a close bond by sending him various gifts. And Ottoman administrators maintain the peace in the region by benefiting from the conciliator personality and moral identity of Sayyid Taha. This spiritual bond that connects ┼×emdinli to Istanbul continued its effect for a long time. And when this tradition vanished, the region lost its peaceful atmosphere. Keywords
