ABSTRACT
In his research the authors discussed the following questions concerning the low effectively of distance learning: How can you make distance learning system more effective? What should you change in methodology and organization to make learning more effectively? How does the effectivity increase if you use an optimal system instead of the traditional one? The distance learning is expected to be efficient in learning time aspect. According to the author's effectivity research the learning results show that the effectivity increased on average 53 %. You need so less than two-thirds time (65 %) to reach the expected knowledge to get your certificate. It is for the grown-up people - who are the destination group of distance learning - especially important. The author developed a special innovation to have those results: new strategy and methods in programmed learning, using the latest developments of psychology and didactics, effectively using information and communication technologies, innovation of distance learning methods.The author's methodology model helps you reach both knowledge level and understanding level and application level in learning objects by distance learning. According to his research the author suggests to use his Distance Teaching Handbook to develop learning materials and to develop learner suits as well as to tutorage. Further he suggests using his Distance Learner's Handbook for learners. The author's research experience explored further topics for effectivity research. He suggests improving learning control, refining tutorial activity and using more differentiated pedagogical models. He suggests these for further research.Hlavným cieľom výskumu bolo vypracovanie takého optimalizovaného systému diaľkového vzdeláva­nia, ktorý svojimi riadiacimi prvkami zabezpečí úspešnej­šie vzdelávanie sa - zníži počet „odpadávajúcich" štu­dentov a väčšine študentov zabezpečí úspešné ukonče­nie svojich štúdií. Zo zložiek systémov diaľkového vzdelávania sa optimalizovali učebné materiály a pod­porné prostriedky učenia sa. V optimalizačnom procese sa vychádzalo z moderných teórií učenia, zameralo sme sa na inováciu programovaného vyučovania a metód učenia, na účinné využitie moderných informačno-komu-nikačných technológií. V rámci optimalizačnej práce bo­la zostavená Metodická príručka diaľkového vzdelávania a bol vypracovaný experimentálny učebný materiál -v tradičnej a v optimalizovanej elektronickej forme. Dvojvýberový pedagogický experiment so 141 študentmi kontrolneja experimentálnejskupiny potvrdil, že dospelí ľudia študujúci diaľkovou formou vzdelávania popri za­mestnaní dokážu splniť požadované kritériá o 40% krat­ší čas venovaný učeniu, ako pri tradičnejforme.
