ABSTRACT
SUMMARYThis investigation expose the effects that globalization has caused in Monterrey cooperatives, in the Mexican State of Nuevo Leon, from demographic, juridical and social areas, analyzing firstly; historical process of cooperativeness in the city, the importance of cooperativeness vs. globalizing process, the position of social capital in cooperative, the juridical troubles, demographic changes, and social pertinence from cooperative in Monterrey City. The objective of knowing the globalization effects in cooperatives from Monterrey city is to identify the perspectives and to propose a solution to the problems they will have to face. This study of case approaches the analysis and qualitative interpretation of “regiomontanos” cooperative feeling, obtained by the application of an instrument which talks about the roll that cooperatives have had to social problems solutions.
