Education Politics of Young People and Adult and its results: the case of ParanáAbstractThe public politics of Education of Young people and Adults, in Paraná, in the period from 1995 to 2002, constitute the object of this article. The arranged objective is to think about the results of the above-mentioned education politics from the presentation of the actions and strategies implemented for its accomplishment. For analysis of the object a historical approach is used, connecting the problematics with historical and social determinants and the development of the capitalism. One shows up that the politics put into practice for the EJA, in the state, resulted in the enlargement of the service and in high rates of conclusion, through mechanisms of decentralization and acceleration of the certification. It is ended that such politics was in syntony with the most general directives of the education reform and enlarged the horizon of the universalization of the basic education.
