Abstract to: Praxis-philosophical pedagogy: theoretical-scientific and methodological positions - This article describes the epistemological position of a praxis-philosophical pedagogy. It illustrates the basic idea of a praxis-philosophical model of education based on Labriola and Gramsci's version of historical materialism as a practical philosophy. It emphasizes the methodological considerations implied by a science ofeducation strictly oriented towards practical philosophy. Practical-philosophical pedagogy aims at developing an epistemology of education.
