Protein interactions and their specificity play important roles in protein structure and functions.Identification and characterization of protein interfaces is thus important for the study. Adhesive interactionscan be considered as one of the key features of many interactions. Computational approach can be appliedto great extent in identifying disease specific genes. For instance, Nfat and tat proteins have specific rolesrelated to diseases whose roles can be studied. Apoptosis is considered as a crucial part of many cellularactivities and is shown to be related to proteolysis, inflammatory responses, in cancer perturbed proteininteraction and mitochondrial dynamics.
