ABSTRACT
Objectives: The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between coping styles and emotional intelligence in guidance school students in the city of Tehran.Method: 420 students (195 boys and 225 girls) who were selected randomly using multi-stage cluster sampling from three areas in Tehran (areas one, six and 16) from all grades of guidance school, completed the Adolescent Coping Scale and Schutte Self-report Inventory.
