The sense of place is expressedthrough a number of variables of behavior and variables of personal feeling. The studyidentifies the sense of place in and around two new housing developments, built in twoneglected neighborhoods in the city of Ramat Gan. Results were based on ethnographicanalysis of in-depth interviews of residents, half of them living in the new buildings andhalf of them in adjacent old buildings.
