ABSTRACT
Grid computing is a form of distributed computing thatinvolves coordinating and sharing computational power, datastorage and network resources across dynamic andgeographically dispersed organizations.Grid computing is aterm referring to the combination of computer resources frommultiple administrative domains to reach a common goal. Theresources in the Grid are heterogeneous and geographicallydistributed. The paper demonstrates the capability ofeconomic-based systems for wide-area parallel and distributedcomputing by using auction-oriented approach.
