ABSTRACT
This paper present a simulation study of the condensation inside a mini tube. The physical model developed and considers the condensation of pure refrigerants and binary mixtures. The study covered the influence of several parameters on condensation, the concentration of the mixture, the vapor velocity, the diameter of the tube condensation. It showed the heat transfer is enhanced by reducing the diameter of the tube. A comparison was made between the results from the numerical model and those determined from the correlations.
