ABSTRACT
A list and a key of the Pteridophyte species that compose the vegetation of the "Bosque La Carbonera -San Eusebio" is supplied; this andean Cloud Forest grows at 2.300-2.700 m, in the District Andrés Bello, in the State of Mérida, Venezuela.The total of species collected were 78 in an area of 368 Ha, comprised in 19 families and 35 genera. The scarce information of vascular criptogames of this locality is discussed; the presence of Grammitis intricatais reported for the first time in Venezuela, as well as the presence of Hymenophyllum crassipetiolatum in South America, this last species had been only reported for Guatemala. A classification of the different Pteridophyte Communities according to their different life forms is presented
