ABSTRACT
A spectrophotometric method for accurate determination of rosiglitazone maleate (RGM)-β-cyclodextrin (β-CD)inclusion complex in aqueous solution was developed and validated. Host-guest complex (1:1) formed between β-CD and RGM was characterized through spectral analyses. The concentration of β-CD, pH of the medium, temperature and reaction time were optimized for maximum stability and absorbance of the complex. The method was found linear in the drug concentration range of 2.5-15.0 μg/ml, precise (% RSD
