The work has the objective to evaluate the environmental viability of the swine breeding activity in the Mandurim River watershed located in the Southwest area of the Parana State,Brazil, through the physics aptness verification under the environmental aspect, through the soil support capacity to absorbs the swine wastes as fertilizer, respecting the pertinent rules. For performance this research, were utilized cartographic materials and specific softwares, through the geographic information systems (GIS) were elaborated the thematic maps of declivity, raise, soil use and occupation. The mains results permitted conclude that the able area for receive the swine wastes without compromise the environmental quality is 847 ha and the watershed presents sustainability for the swine breeding activity.
